Meet Kevin, Stuart and Bob in MINIONS, in theaters this July. I’m so excited for the movie that I took the opportunity to turn Stuart into an Easter Bunny. I’m sure he likes his costume.
MINIONS Easter Bunny Cake
Lucky Charms Treats (No Bake)
I love me Lucky Charms. I love them so much, I felt it was my duty to force my Kindergarten’s to do Math with them last week. Math? Lucky Charms? You bet! You were probably thinking that cereal is meant to be consumed in a bowl, with milk. I’m here to save you from yourself, and let you know that not only are they a learning material, they can be eaten without a spoon in treat form!
Mint Oreo Cheesecake
First things first. Who doesn’t love mint and chocolate? If you don’t, move on- this cheesecake is not for you. There are two packages of mint Oreo’s in this dessert, and creme de menthe, so the mint flavouring is wonderfully present- not over powering so that you think you’re eating toothpaste, just perfectly paired with the chocolate and cream cheese.
How to Make a Cinderella Cake
The new Cinderella movie is coming out this weekend, and I knew I had to make a cake to celebrate! Cinderella is of course a classic fairy tale and Disney cartoon, so hopefully this newest version will live up to it predecessors.
Chocolate Candy Box Cake
This cake is for chocolate lovers only. In fact, you should probably be obsessed with chocolate in order to make this cake since every component has chocolate; from the chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream base, to the swirled chocolate wafer sticks wrapped around it, to the chocolate candy chunks on top!
How to Make Decorated Oreos- No Bake
This is SUCH an easy idea. It’s so easy, I’m kind of embarrassed to show it to you. We all need something easy to do once in a while, right?? I also like that this is another No Bake idea, and anything no-bake is bound to be simple!
How to Make a Minecraft Cake
I bought myself a Nintendo for Christmas. Guess what game I wanted to play first? Minecraft! Well, that’s a lie. It was vintage Super Mario, but that doesn’t go with this cake. Guess what game I wanted to play second? Minecraft!
Once, many moons ago, I made a grass block Minecraft cake, and that took such a ridiculous amount of time, that I decided I would never do it again. So when I thought about making another Minecraft cake, I chose to make this cake out of mini cake blocks instead of one big giant one. Both giant block cakes, and Minecraft landscape cakes have been created in wonderful ways already all over the internet. So my problem was how was I going to produce a fresh cake idea when I was late to the party? I decided (with Paul’s expert advice . . aka his idea) to go with a background/backdrop of the cake being an un-mined, yet to be explored area that Minecraft Steve is working on, and in front of him, an area of land where he has already been, therefore exposing the various different block types.
M&M blonde brownies Bars (Blondie Bars)
Blondies/brownies, same thing, but a different colour. It’s not rocket science, people. It’s baking science. You might have even heard of these referred to as “cookie bars”, but whatever you want to call them, call them delicious! I’ve just managed to make two corny jokes in the first two sentences, so you better just watch the video . . . or continue to read at your own expense!
This is a very versatile recipe in that you can add any ingredient into the bars that you want. If you don’t like M&M’s (what is wrong with you?), add in regular chocolate chips! If you want to stick with the “blondie” idea, add in white chocolate chunks instead. These would also be great with an addition of nuts to add a bit of crunch to them.
