Great information in condensed form! Thank you, Jen. I also found a Weight Ingredient Chart on the King Arthur Flour website, http://www.kingarthurflour.com/learn/ingredient-weight-chart.html, which I printed out and refer to very often. I prefer to use grams to weight and use a kitchen scale as I cook and bake. It’s especially helpful with flour and ingredients that can vary so much with different types of measuring. The grams are always spot on, so no guesswork! I love your channels, Jenn, and the Baking Buddies Community on Facebook is just great!! Inspiring me to try new things and giving me ideas for designs! Thank you for starting this, Jenn!!
Dear Jenn,
Can your above convertion chart use in Singapore? I wanted to convert cup to gram.
Love you recipe!
Thank you very much Jenn
I am making your vanilla cake recipe and I have a silly question. The metric measurements of the ingredients are for weight of the ingredients, right? The scale that I purchased has it’s own weight measurements for different ingredients and they are different than yours. If you would please verify that your measurements are by weight I will definitely use your measurements because these are your recipes and they look awesome. I have spent the last few hours looking at a number of recipes on your site and they are inspiring!
Thank you
Yes they are by weight. A simple kitchen scale will work for you to measure. Good luck~
Whats 200 grams of sweetened condensed milk us
300 grams of granulated sugar in us
150 grams water in us
350 grams white chocolate chips in us
And 19 grams of gelatin in us
Please reply ASAP thanks
This recipe needs to be weighed due to the preciseness required.

Hi Jenn, I need to convert 1 cup of peanut butter. Can you tell me at whitch product I have to look? I thought that butter would be likely the same?
Good question….1 cup =250 g =8.8 oz I found that here: http://www.cookitsimply.com/measurements/cups/peanut-butter-0070-016q6.html
Thanks a lot Jenn! 😀
Hiii.you ate very sweet and also your recipes.can uou tellme if I don have the paddle equipment and havinv only the hand mixer if i can make your recipe for red velvet cake.i am afraid that the cake wont be like yours.and a last question:why using butter and no vegetable oil??? Thank you!!!!!
Yes you can use a hand mixer, and this cake calls for butter. Vegetable oil and butter are fats and you use one or the other in most recipes. This one happens to use butter.
hey,you can please share a chocolate cream cheese frosting for a cake in a 25 cm?
Hi I am from Bangladesh. I like your videos on youtube. My twin daughters are also big fan of yours and they dreamed of becoming baker like you. In our country icing sugar is not easily available. I want to know the recipe of icing sugar.
You can grind regular sugar to powder to make icing sugar.

Thanks for this convertion table. Can give the cake measurement to use for every cake pans?
This is so awesome! I needed these when I was trying to make some Mediterranean cookies and the recipe called for metrics…
Have you thought about making an app with this info??
Unfortunately there are already a number of apps for conversions…but thanks for the idea!
there so great….
Do you make Vegan meals?
No, sorry.
Thank you for sharing this, I always avoided recipes with gram measurements cause i didn’t know the right conversions.
this totally helps. I enjoy watching your VERY helpful videos… thank you
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching the videos!! I’m comfortable working in cups etc, but lots of our viewers are used to grams/kg, so we try to provide both, and a conversion guide to help!
hmmm so which do i use? im from the UK and wanting to make the chocolate mousse cake but the cups over here are very different to the american ones?
I’m not aware that there is a difference between American and UK measurements. The measurements that I use in the video are imperial so just use the conversions as they are listed in the chart, and use the metric amounts if you have that available.
Ops Micelle,
I’ve just spotted your conversion charts, therefor my apologies for my previous comment. I hadn’t looked at your website properly.
Just love your demonstrations, they are so uncomplicated. Do you sense a passionate fan? Well, you’re absolutely spot on.
Can’t hang around going to try baking sandwich cake, TheMichele’s way.
Bye for now
Swazie as in Patrick
Glad you found it!! When we post our videos, I try to show the conversions in the description box in the video as well.
