Hi all! Thanks so much for sticking with me throughout this busy summer! I haven’t been able to post many blog updates in a while and in this upcoming video, you’ll see why!
Last week, Paul and I ended up in Los Angeles, California and at the YouTube Space in LA. YouTube has “Spaces” in other cities too, like New York, Tokyo and London. The YT Space is basically a GIANT production facility that anyone (who is a partner with YouTube) can book times to come in shoot videos, edit videos etc. You can even book their $$$ cameras and lighting equipment to use!! It was amazing to see…and touch!
That’s me on the GIANT screen in the lobby! It was so weird (and cool) to see our “How to make Cronuts” video up with everyone just hanging around in the lobby.
The YT Space LA is located in the old Howard Hughes airport, so out front sits a “mascot”- a Howard Hughes Helicopter! Apparently at one point it worked, but they wouldn’t tell us if it currently did . . . I can imagine some over excited RC guys trying to get it going (right Paul?).
Hopefully you’ll stay tuned with all of the great upcoming videos we filmed in the space! We met some amazing fellow YT creators, and we were able to get a couple of video collaborations filmed together! This is me below in the “kitchen” set.
Being in the Space was an amazing experience, and hopefully we get to get back there soon!
