Question, how do you get your cakes so flare, like the round cakes. Do you cut them or does it just come out even on top. Mine come out with a little dome and for to to be flat I have to cut the top off both so it does not look uneven.

    Hi Jenn,
Your channel is one of the best baking channels i have ever discovered on youtube. Thx so much for taking your time out for us. I really appreciate the effort. You should do a collab with HOW TO COOK THAT i love her videos so much too. She is very creative with baking check her channel out on youtube (How to cook that). It will be very cool to have both of you together and bake something. I think when two artists come together and do something it leaves everyone shocked in a GOOD way. Thx for taking your time to read this.BYE

I love you and your videos! I am 8. My B-day is on January 11. I love all your videos so it is hard for me to pick which one is my favorite. But I have managed to pick. They are the shark cake pops. I think you should make a cake shaped like a popsicle. Hope you make many more videos!

    Hi Jen
I’m sending another email as I’m not sure if I posted correctly on my last one and I have now subscribed to your newsletter
Your zebra cake is just amazing the best one I saw on the Internet , so colourful and eye catching
I would dearly love to make this for my daughters birthday on the 1st July I’m just an amateur baker but with your tutorial on you tube I think I could do it
I would like it to come out like yours exactly and don’t want to leave anything to chance so heres my questions

Did you use 8inch( 20cm ) DEEP cake pans or 8inch(20cm) deep sandwich tins

    Most important question as follows

I only have one of the ice cream scoops which I have measured across and it it is 5cm across . Because I would like to get the exact same effect as your cake on your tutorial I was wondering what are the sizes measuring across the ice cream scoop as Amazon Uk have a set which are reasonable ( they are 4 /5/6 cm ).
There are other websites that sell these scoops but are describing them by the weight they hold or by a number All very confusing for the novice baker
So do your scoops go by diameter or weight that they hold in fluid oz Or do they have a number on them ( have looked at it all on google !!!
Could you use ready roll or fondant over the first crumb coat if you so desired instead of buttercream a Have you tried this
Hope you can help as I will have to order the other two sizes of the ice cream scoops and if needed sandwich tins so I can get started. Just to say you make some really amazing bakes Jen Keep up the good work Fingers crossed that I get this post to you xxx thanks Mary Brown , Tynemouth England

I got my scoops from Pampered Chef and from a local dollar store. You do not need to use exact measurements in my opinion. Just use what you have. You can covered your cake in fondant if you prefer…I find that the majority of people do not like the taste of fondant, and throw it away. Glad you like the videos!

Hi there…thanks for watching and writing to me. I haven’t done an FAQ in a while, so I might do one coming up. I choose the questions that get asked a lot, and not ones that I’ve answered before in my previous FAQ’s. You can always right to me if you want a better chance of me answering your question on camera. Thanks again!
