These two girls are THE cutest duo on YouTube. Seriously, I was awash in cuteness when we were filming. Of course, I have to mention their accents as well, as that makes them even cuter (they’re Australian if you didn’t pick that up). It was such a pleasure to get to work with Charli and Ashlee while we were in LA, so make sure you follow the links in this post to subscribe to their channel, and watch the video (Mickey and Minnie Marshmallow Pops) we did on their channel at the bottom of this post.

The thing that I miss already about not being a teacher (even though it’s still officially summer break) is getting to work with kids. I was so lucky to get to film with this sister duo. They are fun, energetic, and ready for anything. They kept me on my toes, and I love that challenge. Charli leads their channel Charli’s Craft Kitchen (it’s named after her after all) and she and her sister Ashlee make all kinds of adorable, easy recipes that kids can do. They prove it in each video as they are doing the videos! Mom and Dad help behind the scenes, but the girls are the cute faces (have I said “cute” enough times in this post?) who show the viewer how to do all of the steps. When you watch our videos, you’ll know what I’m talking about- C-U-T-E!
Now, on to the collab contents! Since we were both in the LA area, and the girls had just gone to Disneyland a couple of days prior, we decided to do Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed treats. On our channel, we decided to do a bit of a glammed up cupcake, and on the girls channel we did marshmallow pops. Paul and I were planning to go to Disneyland on our last day there to get some extra footage (and have fun!) but we had too much running around and errands to do. BUT, we’ll be back soon, and I’ll get him there some day.
Charli and Ashlee are Elise from My Cupcake Addiction niece’s (whaaaa?? say whaaaa??), so I’m super happy to let you know we’ve also got a collab coming up with her next week! I’ve kept it a close secret, but if you’re a blog reader, you’re a lucky one who gets to know ahead of time to watch for the collab with Elise and I.
