December 15, 2016 by Jenn

Today I am showing you how to make a Candyland Gingerbread Castle Cake. This Gingerbread house idea comes from combining two of my super popular cake tutorial- Candyland cake, and my, pink chocolate gingerbread house!

There are many moments when I am reminded that I have a pretty amazing job but making a Candyland Cake is definitely up at the top of the reasons I love what I do. How lucky am I to be able to play with candy?! As a job! I also love the piping that this project required. I find it relaxing to pipe like what is required for the walls of this cake.  If I’m using royal icing, I’m even happier since it’s so much easier to work with and so much easier to clean up than buttercream!

12. Slice and serve cake when desired. Cake is best kept in a sealed container in the fridge.
