Today I’m joined again by our guest host Paityn, and this time, we’re doing a fun video challenge putting together Yummy Nummies Make-a-Meal Fun Set – Best Ever Burger Maker. These DIY candy kits are harder than they look! Or maybe I’m not smart enough.
Subscribe to Cupcakes and Cardio.
Paityn is game for anything that we want to film. She will pretty much try anything . . . except fish with skin on it! Ever since she saw the Yummy Nummies kits that I found at Target in the States, she’s been hounding me to do them in a video with her. Well, she’s too cute to resist, so two Yummy Nummies rookies took on the Burger and Fries kit. I’m blaming Paityn for her bad choice choosing the burger kit as she had a bunch of kits to choose from including potentially yummy cupcakes, donuts, and cookies! Out of all of those yummy candies, she goes with the burger!! Gross!!
I’ve done a couple of Popin Cookin kits before, but those were hard because the instructions are written in Japanese. I figured that since this one is in English, I’d be able to do a much better job than Gemma and I did in our collab videos using Popin Cookin. Paityn has done quite a few Poppin Cookin kits, so really, she should have been the one to take the lead in this video. Poor girl.
I’ll admit we weren’t the most skilled at putting the kit together, but despite our past practicing, and capable baker skills, it should have been super easy! The product looks nothing like the packaging, but when working with the powdered, microwaved substances, who could think it really would?
Despite our poor showing of expertise, if you still want to try the burger kit, you can get it here.
I think these kits make fun gifts, but I’m not too sure how willing I would be to sample anymore products! Well, I’m willing to try the sweets . . . how wrong can that go?
