Do I need to use a whisk? Yes, you do to create a large amount of air mixing into the cream, which is what “whips” the cream.
Do I need use heavy cream? Yes, you do as the cream has the necessary amount of milk fat content required.
How many minutes does it take to whip cream? It depends on the speed and machine that you are using. Times will vary between stand mixers, hand held mixers or whipping it by hand.
Where can you buy heavy cream? The grocery store.
Can whipping cream be done by hand? Technically, yes, but it might take you a while!
