We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

I love to bake so much – it actually relaxes me. The more stressed I am the more I am whipping things up!! If I win I plan on using my new pans and tools to practice making my daughter a wedding cake. Congrats on such a great you tube and baking blog!!

I would make a cake for my mom. I dont have the money to by these items at the time since my moms rent is a lot of money, but she has been there with me through everything. I’ve always wanted to bake a cake from one of your videos, but I don’t have the supplies to make it.
Also my moms and grandpas birthday is coming up. They were both born on December 17. I think it would be really cool to surprise them with a special cake! I would probably do kind of like a remake of one of your cakes, and once everybody would see the cake, I would of course give credits to you!! I’ve always wanted to bake like a big, cool cake. I would always watch and help my mom with cooking when I was younger. I thought it was really fun!! I would make a cake for the best mother in the world. My mother has done so many things for my family and sometimes we do not show our appreciation for all she does. I sometimes catch her crying by herself and I would ask her what’s wrong and she would say how much she loves her family and how she wants the best for all of us. So I want to bake her a cake to let her know that we love her and the best for her as well.
