We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

My brother in law got married in Costa Rica and no one of the family could attend (political issues), so to celebrate his 6 months of marriage we decided to do a little party. And as they did not have the white fondant cake they dreamed, if I won, I’ll bake the cake of their dreams!

I’m going to be moving out of the family home soon and I am extremely excited to finally have my own kitchen, so to answer your question, Jen, I would make anything and everything I could think of if I was to win the bundle, although more specifically I think further down the line I’ll try to finally make something half decent for myself, maybe a birthday cake. I always seem to make wonderful cakes for others and maybe it’s because of the pressure but when it comes to making something for me, it never seems to go right! So I’m hoping, if I win this bundle (and if not, once I get my collection of bakery equipment more fully stocked) that I can not only continue making wonderful cakes for others but some for myself too 🙂
On a separate note, I love what you do! Your creativity has not only helped me improve my skills overall but also given a lot of my loved ones very happy birthdays (and various other events) which, as someone who prefers baking cake to eating it, is the most important thing about baking, so thank you 🙂
