We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

Im a 13 year old girl who is always active to your tutorials!! You have inspired me to do a lot of things, I have the things I need except for the pan, the tips, and the stuff you are giving away. I’ve been begging my mom to go buy the things I need but she said we are having economic troubles and she cant afford them. Today is supposed to be my dad’s birthday and I was really inspired to do (for the first time) an oreo cake that you made cause he loves oreo. But my mom said (I repeat she couldnt afford it. My dad really wanted to see how my first oreo cake went but I couldnt make it… We were all really sad because since I was little, I wanted to make cakes and stuff… I learned how to do cake pops and to decorate them by you.. I did them for my cousin’s sweet 16 because my aunt could only buy the stuff for the party and nothing else. They were very simple tho but people loved them and its all thanks to you… (if I could post a pic here, I would so you could see them) Since then, people started asking me for cakes and stuff, but since I dont have what I need, I reject them… Ijust hope I get the chance to win so I can make cakes and help my parents with the economic problems here, where I live…I really really really wanna practice the checker board cake, the oreo cake, the rainbow cake, the pink zebra cake, and the easter marble cake… I have the ingredients, just not all of them… I really hope I win, or maybe one day get the opportunity to help my parents.. I was told a couple of months ago that he didn’t have long. His cancer is beating him and I guess it’s gotten out of hand. I would definitely try to use all of these great products in one cake, so I’d try to do a sky themed one, with a rainbow cake and a light blue fondant to represent the sky and make cute little 4D clouds using the cupcakes and vanilla buttercream!

I would make a flower cupcake pops
If I would win I would make a 2 tiered cake. It’s my dream to become a baker. I want to make cakes just like you, become expierenced. I want to make the perfect cake. Vanilla cake that is dense and moist and doesn’t need to be fixed because it’s bad. To have the perfect consistency batter and go evenly in the pans. Come out of the pans easily and not crumble apart. It will have two layers. A bigger one on the bottom and small one on top. Having a perfect crumb cake and then a base coat. I want about a Tiffany blue fondant with a smooth top and sides. The cake would have a little beaded border and a drop hang side border. I would put a 1 right on top because I would make this for my cousin Gavin . He is turning one, and he is kind of chunky. So I can’t wait to see him dive into his cake. His parents don’t have a lot of money to splurge on. So I could make the cake. It would be amazing to win this for them. And I can’t purchase these because I don’t have money and my parents both work so it’s hard to buy them. It would mean a lot to my family to win this.
