We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

Congratulations on a great milestone. If I were to win, I would make a 3 tier celebration cake. The bottom tier would be in honour of my mum and late dads 55th wedding anniversary. The middle tier would be for my husband and I celebrating our 30th anniversary. That leaves the top tier, this would be for our son and daughter in law celebrating their 5th anniversary. We had a big 3 way celebration on their wedding day, what better way to celebrate again than with CAKE!

I would like to make halloween cupcakes for my neighborhood party!
Using as many of these tools as possible, I would make a four layered cake, the first three being green fondant, then the last layer I would decorate to look like a pot for a plant, then I would make some delicious cupcakes and make them look like roses and put them on top of the “pot” to make it look like a bed of roses. Then I could place some leftover cupcakes around the cake and then pulling some fondant leaves here and there to make it more life like!
