We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

I would make a chocolate cake with three layers: chocolate orange, chocolate coffee, and chocolate hazelnut. Then I would frost the layers with brown colours going lighter each layer. And then I would finish up with red roses on the outside. I love your channel! Hope I win! Greets Judith <3

Hey Jenn, I’ve been following for so long! You’ve helped me a lot with all my baking! I’ve done a few crazy cakes, like lego bricks, tea party, a book, hamburger cupcakes, etc., I also did your chocolate truffles, they were a hit, I’m looking forward to make more of your recepies and cake ideas!
I’ve been baking for about 2 years now (I’m turning 19 this month!) But I don’t have a lot of money so I don’t have a lot of baking utensils and here in Argentina they are very expensive.
The first thing I would do is probably a big 3D cake, or a nice wedding cake just for fun (I guess I’m gonna have cake for about a month if I do that), I could make something big and amazing for christmas and even start selling my cakes! I’m at uni, in 3 years I’ll be a math teacher, but studying is not cheap, and I would love to make my cakes into money. It makes a lot of fun doing them, I can clear my head while making some cakes…

Being only 16 and not having any formal training, I enjoy watching baking videos in my spare time to learn and pick up a few tips and tricks. If I were to win this prize, I would make the rainbow cake you made back in 2013 for my sisters 11th birthday. She always gets me to make her cake and this year has requested an ombre effect with the icing. In your video you make the ombre technique looks so simple and easy ( i thought it was really tricky). So, my sister is having her wedding soon so with that equipment I would make her wedding cake with it. I would use the cake pans to make a 3 tier cake and use the food colourings to make an ombré cake which would be decorated with the tips and I would make fondant roses to decorate the whole thing with.

If I were to win this contest, then I would bake the most indulgent strawberry cheesecake there is……in my house that is. I would also to bake my oldest brother a two tiered cake for his birthday which is this month….this would be my very first attempt at trying anything close to working with fondant and multi-layered cakes!!
First thing I would do a cake/cupcake cake. The kinds that the top teir is a cake and then the other tiers are cupcakes. I would really do a peacock theme because If I had those tips it would be so much fun! I would also make some sweets to take to some people that can’t bake or make these sweets for themselves! Baking is something you have to be passionate about its also something that takes time to perfect I love cook shows and to watch how to bake cakes and see them being decorated my nan taught me how to bake from when I was 4 sadly she passed when I was 10 we were so close and this was the special thing we did together and I hope one day I could just at least be half the baker she was
I know we had to write what would we use all the equipment for I would make heaven a light vanilla sponge with all different types of butter cream mint for the green grass marshmallow or almond extract for the clouds I would carve my nan out of chocolate and make fondant flowers and meadows me and my nan lying on the meadows it will be us together on last time I know it’s only a cake but it would be a 4 tier memory of her life and how it’s so hard to live with out her
