We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!

Hi I am Kenneth Anderson and I have been watching your videos for quite a while now and also a long time blog reader thank you for making my mouth water so much! You really are such a talented baker . I am entering you contest !! My great-grandmother loved to bake and she also taught me.We made so many cake from Pound Cake to red velvet any cake flavor we made it!! It didn`t even have to be a special occasion we just baked for no absolute reason! She passed away this January and when she passed I felt as though a part of me passed with her. 🙁 Any time I feel sad and missing her I go to the kitchen and whip a nice cake and when I`m finished I just feel her presence.It has also been a really tough time for my grandfather who was very close to her and one of her many cake testers lol. His health is deteriorating he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer 4 months after her death. He is currently on Chemo. After every treatment a nice cake is waiting for him at home and it just brings me great joy! What would I make with this set??? I think I would make a lovely glazed gnache chocolate cake! It was my grandmothers fav! She especially loved when I added corn syrup to make it really shiny ! If I am granted to win your contest I would bake any chance I got . What makes me different from others well, I am a single parent, and my ex husband is an alcoholic who wants nothing to do with my kids. You see my daughters all have depression and anxiety which later developed into them not going to school and not wanting to leave the house at all. Until one day my youngest daughter found your youtube channel and started wanting to bake cakes of course i could not afford this but i still tried to make it happen. When i saw your give away my face lit up and i was so happy!! so i thought i will definatly have to enter.
So if i won i would use the equipment to make a 3 tiered rainbow cake with fondant flowers and and buttercream rossettes and i wold also make mini rainbow cupcakes to match. i am also so happy you are giving a spatular because i have wanted ever since i stared baking. and the decouration kit will really help me improve my decouration and the turn table would really help me decourate the 3 tiered cake. I would create this cake by following your wedding cake tutorial.
I should also mention that i am a young baker, i am only 12 years old. I love baking and i know i am young put i want to open a wedding cake buisness or make a cake shop. Baking to me is more of a passon than a hobby and the baking kit your are giving away will really help become a better baker

If I were to win this give away/contest, being honest the first thing that I would make is your recipe for rainbow cake, and since I have been dying to try the rainbow cake-pop truffles, I would decorate it with that.
But the main thing that I really want to make is a 3-tier volcano cake! My best friend is a Geologist, and she loves everything having to do with rocks, the earth, fossils, dinosaurs, and volcano’s. I want to make it tall, then decorate it with different kinds of rock candy, but I want to take it a step further, and make the cakes different colors to make it look like the layers of the earth when you cut into it, and I will probably be using dry ice for the lava effect. I also want to make decorations out of cake pops to look like boulders, and even some trees or something.
Also, since Halloween is coming up, I thought I’d try using your Pot of gold cake pop recipe, and turn them into witch cauldron cake pops.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cake will be my first cake I make!!! My eldest son was wounded in Iraq that left him a Quad, and when he was a boy he was always Michelangelo!!!! If I won, I’d probably make something pretty simple to begin with — I love watching you bake but when it comes to making stuff myself, I’m still a newbie so I have to gain a little confidence before trying too big of a project! Since we’re nearing the fall months and you have all those lovely cupcake liners included in the prize, I might try my hand at one of your holiday cupcake tutorials, like the Christmas tree one, so that I’ll have it down pat by the time the holidays roll around 🙂

If I won this I’d choose to decorate a birthday cake for my gran. Her birthday is coming up and she use to bake birthday cakes for me every year. But last year she had to have her knees replaces so she can’t move far and cannot stand for very long so I thought it would be a great idea to bake and decorate a cake for her.
