We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

Ok so first off i love ur vids congrats on 500 k an. My mom has been partialy blind for the pas few years and she is recovering from a few surgeries that have madetue biggest difference now shes learnin how technology is working and other sites such as youtube so i would use this set to bake her a get well soon cake and give her the set

If I won that set, I’d immediately retry the rainbow cake with 2 batches of butter cream to allow enough icing to frost each layer with each color with the petal effect, just like yours. I made the cake, all from scratch, but didn’t have the piping bag and the tips needed to finish the cake! All of our friends loved that cake, even with the plain white butter cream (which I zinged up with a little lemon juice and zest (and the cache batter too).
I try making your creations all the time to see if I can, with the limited equipment I have. I always get great reviews. Your show is quite entertaining and I’ve taken up baking as a hobby and a way to give unique gifts.

You know I recently subscribed to your channel and I’ve been watching since I saw that crazy Canada Day cake and every day since then, the 5 year old girl I baby sit wants to watch you videos everyday!!! She even suggests we make some of the stuff she watches (ninja turtle cake pops, shark cake pops, frozen cake etc.) I think she may be interested in culinary! First of all, congrats on your 500K subscribers. You’re goodie videos are fun to watch and seeing what is being created just from simple imagination to the recipes that you’ve found interesting to try out and show us tell us you love baking. If I won the baking kit, I wouldn’t even know where to start there are so many great creations to make out of baking and I can’t wait to try them all with my mom. From making cupcakes to a three tier cake would be a great time to spend with everyone I love who also love baking. But if I would have to chose to make something from the baking kit would be a Minecraft cupcakes or just simple cupcake with really yummy chocolate design on them. I would make a rainbow cake. I love the color. I would make the rainbow out of cupcakes by using the color gel and liners. At each end I would make clouds and they also would be out of cupcakes. At one side I would use the middle cake pan and make a sun. Just thinking about it makes me want to bake so bad. Congrats and think you for the videos

Hi Jenn!!! My name is Alexis and the first thing I wiould bake is a cake for my grandma because she is in rehab right now for a broken hip so she can’t bake right now. She loves to bake and every christmas she bakes cookies for my whole family and these yummy chocolate covered peanutbutter balls. Her favorite dessert is cake and I just want to cheer her up while she is going through this tough time in her life. I know I get my passion for baking from her. I actually got my first kitchen aid mixer when I was 11 years old!!! (Now 16). I bake a lot and my dad’s waist line doesn’t appreciate, but that’s ok. When people love what I bake it makes me feel really good inside because I like to please people and baking is a way for me to do that. Hi Jenn, I think it is great that you are giving away new baking supplies.
