We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!

Wow! First of all I would just like to say that i am a HUGE fan of all of your videos, I’ve been watching your videos for quite a while. I am 17 years old and I am hopefully going to be going to culinary school to become a pastry chef next fall(although I haven’t made up my mind :)) I First got into baking when I was about 12 years old, just making cakes and stuff for fun. But I would like to start baking more often and making cakes for friends and fundraisers around town, different things like that. I would absolutely Love to win this package mostly because I want to expand my skills so that I have a better chance at getting into university. i have watched all of you videos and i love them!! i still havent had the courage to try anything, mostly because it is very difficult getting supplies. you see, i live in israel and have to make the best with what i have available.
this summer i made (or should i say tried to make) some special fancy cupcakes with my daughters youth group. i tried making the lady finger type cookies by scratch, (because i cant get them here), and the frosting without any shortening, (because i cant get it here) etc etc trying to do the best i could with the tools and supplies available to us in israel… and all this while being under attack during the war that was going on over here!! the most important thing was that the girls had a good time!!
so with the package you are giving away, i will maybe be able to kick up my baking with nice supplies.

The first thing I would make using the baking kit would be a sandcastle cake, using crushed graham crackers as the sand, with small fondant shells.

Well, what I what do with all the baking thing I would do my mom a three tiered cake for my moms 50th birthday which is coming soon and also to make holidays cakes because Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years are coming pretty soon . I’m a 18 year old german girl and i’m fascinated by baking and cooking. What I like most, is to decorate the things I made. At the moment I use simple little plastic bags for example, when I decorate Cupcakes or Cakes with buttercream or frosting – but my biggest dream is to have a professional baking-equipment, because I think that everything would work better with it.
With your Baking Kit I would make many colorful cupcakes and cakes which I would decorate with the tools you will give away. In some months is Christmas, and for that I would bake many cookies (we call them “Plätzchen” here in Germany 🙂 ) which I would decorate too. I would be so happy and thankful, if I had the opportunity someday, to use professional baking tools.
And by the way, at the end I want to say “Thank you” for your videos, your blog and your work because they all are so amazing and I could learn many things from you until now. Your ideas are a big inspiration for me. Thanks for that and greetings from Germany!

I have 3 nephews and they love the mountains and water. Their birthdays just past but I couldn’t make them the cake they wanted because I didn’t have the material.
My first cake would be a mountain with water and sand surrounding. The 3 tierd cake would be shaped into the mountain, and I would make cupcakes with different color blues as the frosting for the water and more cupcakes for the sand. these materials would sure help.

You really inspired me start baking and by watching your videos i have learnt alot. We have always wanted to bake them a cake to thank them for being such wonderful parents. We plan to bake a cake that exemplifies their continued support for their children even though we have been through such difficult obstacles in our lives. They have been through thick and thin for our education journey and it is time that we give them something more for what they have done for us.

If I were to win this competition I would make an Avengers/Marvel superhero cake for my little brother’s eleventh birthday. I would create three round cakes. The first would be covered in white fondant. I would then use red stripes of fondant around the edge. Finally I would create Captain America’s shield and surround the top of this tier with a blue strip of fondant. For the second, slightly smaller round, I would cover this in brown fondant and make impressions in it to make it look like a wall. Then I would create a Hulk hand out of fondant and mount this on the cake. I would place this on top of the first. My third layer would be covered in red fondant. I would use a strip of yellow fondant around the bottom and then create the Iron Man Arc Reactor and stick that to the layer (maybe I could even use real lights – best not get ahead of myself here). The final tier would not be a round but rather made to look like rock. I would cover this in grey fondant and then make a lightening bolt out of sugarpaste and a hammer – may have to use a wire or a toothpick to keep the structure right here).
My little brother really likes superheroes and with or without this win, I will make the cake! That little bit of extra help would be nice though 🙂
