We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

If I would get these really nice baking-stuff, I would make some cake for my class and for my family. Than I would make some pictures of theme an I will post them on my instagram account. I have still some cakepictures there, but they were not so nice made, because I don’t have the change to get some of these stuff.

I love the chanel and i have tried so many of your recipes, at the moment I go to school to be a baker and my dream is to move to England or the US and to open a little bakery there. My dream is to make beautiful cupcakes and wedding cakes so that’s what I would do with the set. I would create a classy wedding cake with a rainbow and chocolate filling because who doesn’t love chocolate? And since I’m still in school and live in Sweden it isn’t as easy to get a hold on good products and if you do it’s super expensive so it would help a lot 🙂

(Soz just forgot to add what I would do with the cake decorating things) what I would do with the cake decorating kit would be to start to have some more detail in my cakes because I have never had a piping bag with tips and I always used to use a zip lock bag. If I won this amazing baking kit I would make a flower pot cake.
I would first make three chocolate cakes using the cake pans, then pipe chocolate icing (Using the piping bags and ties) on the top of each one and stack them together to make a three layer cake.
I would then trim down my cake on an angle to make a flower pot shape.
Next, I would use the gel food colouring to colour some fondant a terra cotta colour, then roll it out using the fondant rolling pin.
After that, I would apply my fondant to my cake, the cut a thin strip of fondant to make the rim of the pot.
Next, I would pipe some more chocolate icing on top of the cake.
Using the rolling pin, I would crush chocolate biscuits to make the “soil”, then sprinkle them on top, with the icing acting like glue.
With the star tip attached to the piping bag, I would them pipe roses on top with red icing, coloured using the gel food colouring and finally, I would pipe green leaves around the red roses as the final touches to my flower pot cake!

Hey Jen! I have loved following you since the day I did, I have never seen the most marvellous creations ever, I live in Perth, WA and I can’t find most of these things! Appart from the baking tins and spatulas and stuff, but their all so expensive! I have been hoping to get my hands on some gel paste but I can’t find any. Anyway, I would probably start making cakes and cupcakes and start to sell them, I would just love to see a person face when the bite into a lovely cupcake and buy a cake to take home to their family’s, I would start making more birthday cakes and giving them to my friends, finally getting some gel paste and making better easier macaroons!
