We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

But the only thing i have to bake with is one of the disposable tin foil baking pans from dollar tree, i have a few cupcake liner and i have a 199 tip (using zip locs) and i hoped to be in your video one day be cause i live in the same province. I just graduated this summer and my friends and I have gone our seperate ways. I would sometimes bring cupcakes (and other delicious things) to school for my friends to enjoy. The first thing I would make if I won would therefore be cupcakes. Lemon cupcakes with white chocolate and philadelphia frosting!

Although I am a “newbie” in the cake decorating department, I LOVE IT! I got into it after I had my son (2 years ago) and thought I surely could save us a couple of bucks on store bought cakes. I have since done every bday cake in our house, as well as adding on some “fancy” decorations to holiday treats. You have inspired me to start baking. i am only 13 and I have just bake your Neapolitan checkerboard. Everyone was so impressed! everyone is asking me how I did it and I just say, Cookies,Cupcakes and Cardio and I are the only ones who need to know that. I also tried your cake pops but I think they were just a user error. Haha, I am still learning. Being only young it is hard for me to go out and just buy baking materials, especially those gel colours, but they do look pretty good. I want to try and make an ombre layer cake or a white, pink and red velvet checkerboard for my birthday this month. Lastly I just want you to know that you were my inspiration to start baking and never give up when projects don’t go to plan.

I really love the recipes you provided for us. I would like to bake a cake for my parents as my father always provide me money for education. Without I don’t think I will be even eating and studying properly. On the other hand, my mother always cook for me and clean the house. Without her, the moment when I step into the house, it will be dusty and maybe the food in the cabinet will be fed to the cockroaches.

I would love to win this for my 16 year old daughter, Elisa. I think she’d rather bake than breathe…lol. She’s also really gifted when it comes to baked goodies. She’d like to become a pastry chef when she’s older. I’ve been getting her the “good stuff” a.k.a. professional equipment, etc. but, as a single mom, it’s not always easy.
