We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

I’m only 17 years old and I LOVE baking cupcakes and cakes. My first grandmother is so supportive and has soo many tips and tricks that have really helped me with making my creations better. My other grandmother is an amazing cook and she makes some delicious desserts but righat now she’s not able to do any of that because shehas been in the hospital for almost 3 weeks now and was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma witch was in her lungs 2 days ago. I have been following you on youtube for years and there are so many things i REALLLYY want to bake but i think the first thing i would bake with this if i win would be a cake for my local care home to cheer everyone and just make everyone smile and just forget about worries just for a small moment.

I am a high school student how really love baking.
I was in South Korea and I came to America two and a half years ago with my older sister.
I was really happy because I could bake what ever l wanted to bake in America but getting all the supplies I need was hard.
So If I won I really really want to make a fondent cake. I never done it before but I watch tones of videos and now I memorize many recipes for fondent cake.

I’ve been wanting to make a Celebration of Life cake, in honor of my dad, who passed away the Friday before Thanksgiving last year. I live out of state, and I had to move the day after I buried him, so I never really got to do anything to celebrate the 53 years of things I learned from him and the joy he created in my life. If I were to win the contest, that’s the cake I would make.

My family and I had to move back to Mexico from London, Ont. about 2 years ago and readjusting has been tough but I find great comfort in baking/cooking as I feel it’s a constant with my previous life. unfortunately I had to leave behind all of my baking supplies back in Canada, including my Kitchenaid stand mixer I had just gotten 4 months prior. 🙁 I do OK with what I have here but all of those supplies would be amazing. Hi there i would love to win. Especially because by seeing your videos you just make me want my cake. As of right now i dont have an oven to bake anything. But will be getting one soon. Second of all, I’ve been wondering how and what I could give to my little niece for her birthday, Ive been rejected a few times for work so I wasn’t able to work and get money. School is starting soon for me(nursing), I clearly have no budget for a gift and my passion has always been cooking and baking. (I get so excited with your new recipes that I just imagine the smiles and compliment I can get when baking). Now that I see this, I just really thought that my gift for my little 3years old niece would be me making her a tasty cake for her, my family and the other kids !!! And some cute cupcakes and all! Of course she won’t understand the meaning of this, but later on, I could proudly say to her ”Hey, that’s what aunty made you for you third birthday!! :p

I love baking and I love the cakes cupcakes and the other thing you make. I have a big family, I have 26 uncles and aunts and about 80 cousins and there is still more on the way! I bake cakes when we go to the party, but since we don’t have the money to buy them I can’t practice on my baking skills. when I get older I will open a bakery, for my summer time job when I get older I am 13. I had to stop baking cakes because we didn’t have the money for the supplies with the give away I can bake a wedding cake for my mom’s aunt. The first thing I would TRY to make would be a 2 layer vanilla cake with chocolate cupcakes on top. I would try to cover the cake in fondant and will serve it on my sisters birthday!
My little sister is turning one. I would use everything to make cupcakes, a cake and cake pops for her birthday. It’s been a hard year. My sister thinks of me as a third parent because I had to take of her so much while our mom was in the hospital. She was diagnosed with cancer soon after having little Maya, she went into remission last month. And though I baked cupcakes for her baby-shower(75!!!) I want to make better quality cupcakes. Your channel has help so much. I recently made your basic vanilla cake and butter cream frosting recipe to practice. But I had to improvise. This would help so much! I want to bake for all my family’s special events. But I can’t. I only have ONE little cake pan, no offset spatulas, icing tips or a cake Turntable.
