We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

I have been subscribed to your youtube channel for a while now and I always look in my subscriptions to see if you have uploaded something. I think that it is really nice that you are doing this competition. I would really appreciate any of the prizes as I haven’t been cake decorating for a long time and I don’t have many tools. However, if I had your tools I would definitely make rainbow cake pops, rainbow ice cream cake and I would practice making tiered cakes so that will be able to make them, when someone asks me to make them a cake. First I would like to say thank you for making videos. It’s because of your channel, and a few others, that really got me into baking. I graduate from college in a year and I plan to go back and get a degree in Baking and Pastry. The kit would really help since tools and supplies are not provided.
As for what I’d make with the kit, my friends are always asking me, “When are you going to cook for us?!” If I win the kit, I’d definitely take the opportunity to bake them something delicious. They love chocolate, so I would definitely make them a huge chocolate cake. Or maybe I’ll use all 300 cupcake liners and bake them 300 chocolate cupcakes, haha.
I would make a birthday cake for my dad, because it is his birthday! It would be a three layered cake with blue Buttercream and Buttercream decoration also I will then make cupcakes with colored fondant!!

Hi Jen the first thing I want to say is congrats on getting up to 500k it must be amassing for you and the other thing is I have got all my good ideas and abilities off of watching how you make and decorate cakes and ever since I was 8 years old it’s been my dream to bake cakes and I will be able to do that with the help of you it would be the best if I won but there is probilly more people out there with better reasons but it’s okay with me who ever wins as long as there happy.
The first thing I would make with all the equipment would be a sixteenth birthday cake it would be chocolate and vanilla flavoured and it would be a three tiered cake the bottom would be hot pink with a big white bow around it the middle with be a draped tier coloured white and the top tier will be a small circle cake cut in half and I will put them together and make a hand bag and the middle tier will also have the number sixteen on it in hot pink that would be the first the I will make with the equipment and it would be a great opportunity to win thank you for taking me on this never ending journey with you. I think I would make a 3 tiered first anniversary cake for my friends since they couldn’t afford to have one at their wedding. Maybe I would go out and buy some smaller cake pans and make it a 5 layer cake. I would decorate it very fancy with the colors my friend wanted to have. I would bake fancy sugar free cakes for my dad since he’s diabetic and he really likes red velvet cake. I would use the huge cake pan as a bain-marie pan for cheese cakes just because it’s round. I might go a little nuts with all the baking.

Congrats on the new coming baking fame but feel amazing!
I am not expecting to win but it’s worth a try. Since my mum was diagnosed with cancer everyone has taken on new roles in our house, to help out…I sort of fell into the role of cooking/baking. I’ve found I absolutely love it! It’s easy time consuming and de-stressing, also it’s brings a little joy to everyone (especially my mum who has a major sweet tooth). I haven’t had the money to get proper supplies but I make everything from scratch and all my cakes so far have been from a big old 9″ by 13″ rectangular casserole dish a spatula and some makeshift piping bags. It get’s the job done, though I’d love to make a beautiful round cake (or many)…. Despite a lot of hardship this year I think I’ve found a new passion for design and baking and your channel is so influential in my ideas!…anyways to get to the point.
**I would love to make a tipple chocolate checkerboard black forest cake (inspiration from you) for my younger brothers upcoming 15th birthday. & some red velvet cupcakes for my older brothers graduation. Finally last but not least after a long year; a celebratory multi colored 3 layer swirl/zebra cake with white chocolate fondant and dark chocolate lace piping on the outside for my mum who would be done with chemo/radiation this October! (hopefully). **

Congradulations on hitting 500,000 subscribers! I make cakes for my families birthday and my recent one is my mum’s 50th birthday cake where I made her a 3D Candy Crush Logo cake! I was very proud as I’m only young and it was a massive accomplishment! However there was a couple of things I could of improved on so I would use the prizes to improve the quality of later cakes I make! I would make a wedding anniversary cake for my parents. They have always doubted me for making them a cake; so with that being said I want to show them I’m not just an ordinary girl but a baker with a future as well. In this cake, it will contain a rainbow frosting and cake when you cut it open, with fondant cut outs of stuff they like and make some piping work.
I would love to win this kit because I have had an interest in baking for years, but unfortunately at the moment my mom can’t afford to buy everything that I would like to get. I would probably use this kit to make a one that I’ve been wanting to make for a while– a jelly bean rainbow cake! It’s pretty much the same as your inside out rainbow cake with jelly beans, expect I’ll be using the colors you used for the inside on the outer part and vice versa.
