We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

Congratulations! I’m going to start culinary school early next year because I love baking and someday hope to open my own bakery! When I move out though I will be losing all of my baking supplies because they are my mums. So winning this would be AMAZING!

I have been making cakes now for about 2 years and trying to make it into a profession,
also thinking on going on some type of pastry school to get some skills in the decorating department.

What would I make if had all these amazing tools? The question is, what wouldn’t I make!?!? Baking is in my blood, I use all of my great grandmothers recipes and recipes before she was born. I think I’m the youngest baker in my family. I would make so many teared cakes, cupcakes, put your buttercream frosting (which is amazing!) on just about anything with the off-set spatula and the tip. I really hope I win this! I’d love to bake a Red Velvet Cake. The last one I made tasted great, but the cake itself wasn’t red because here in Germany good food colours are rare and the one I used didn’t work. If I has all those wonderful tools, I would make a surprise cake, where a layer is a checkerboard, another a polka dots and another probably a zebra printing. I would probably use hot pink, purple and teal and cover it with a thin fondant.
On the top I would also add an adorable cupcake or cake pops. This way I could incorporate many of this things I learnt thanks to your channel.

I would make a 3 tierd ombre rainbow cake filled with chocolate ganache and chopped hazelnuts. I would then frost it with buttercream frosting and then decorate it with old school piping and with all these different buttercream flowers that ive been wanting to try out 🙂 i would then serve and share it with my relatives and family members 🙂
