We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!

I recently bake butterscotch layered rainbow cake( I shall tag you in twitter n instagram later!) with your vanilla cake recipe for my mother’s birthday as a surprise and it taste so heavenly.However, i use creamcheese frosting instead of buttercream(which may be a mistake) because i had difficulties making the rose swirls as the frosting was grainy 🙁 plus my cake was kinda flat and not as big and flufffy because i do not have those big cake pans hahaha.
If i could, i would probably do over my mothers cake.
I would also would like to try and bake from scratch your skittle poke cake for my bestfriend’s mother this coming November. And decorate it with black fondant making it into stripes or circles depending on my mood for a zebra or leopard print cake..or butterflies..( im a fondant virgin-hence i wanna make alot of things)

I am a young baker, just starting out and learning about baking and I don’t really have much equipment so if I won this would help me out tonnes. If I won this contest, after I finished being rediculously excited at your generosity, I would bake my wonderful boyfriend a birthday cake using inspiration from your skittles cake, but as he does not like skittles I would use plain and chocolate sponge and cut and assembled to make a checkerboard effect, and use the ideas of the skittles cake decoration to decorate is, with kit Kats around the outside and maltesers on the top. I am super duper excited about making this cake and winning this contest would help so so much because at the moment I don’t even own a rolling pin 🙁 I love baking so much and I think your channel is so great!!! I bake allot with my children , we use a frying Pam that can be used in the oven also s so us basically one size cake unless like we do sometimes and cut them to different size and shapes. I am a huge fan of your channel and I made your confetti cake recipe for my birthday. I bake a lot so my parents come home to cupcakes or cookies that I made. With your givaway, I would make a 3 layer cake with each layer being a different color using the gel dye. I would have rainbow cupcakes around the cake and I would use the cupcake tips to frost the cupcakes. I would use the decorating kit to pip rainbow things all over the cake. The offset spatula would help me frost the cake and the turn table would help me frost the cake too. It would ne a beautiful creation. I have watched all of your videos and you also inspire me.
