We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

Hello! I just came across your youtube video of how to make a wedding cake this morning. I must say, I am one of your biggest fans, now!! I love your videos. I currently just moved away from my hometown and now i have more time at home I bake a lot. I use to bake before but now I bake stuff I never baked before.

My daughter would make a 2 tier Halloween cake, with black fondant. It would be decorated with white icing cobwebs and spider fondant. She would make ghost cake pops sticking out from the cake and use jam trickling down like blood. Around the out side she would make frankenstine cupcakes.
To make this she would need:
Ofset spatula
Food colouring
Piping kit
Cupcake cases
And basically every thing in the giveaway 😉
Her younger brother and cousin would really enjoy the cake that she would make.

I am not new to baking or cooking. I have sold cakes from home and have had them at family parties and friends baby showers. I am very limited as to supplies. I try my best to work with what I have.One day I hope to open a cupcake shop.
The first thing I would probably make is something for Halloween, since that is not only mine, but also my boyfriends favorite holiday! I just want to take a moment to say that I think your show is really awesome. I’m really happy that I discovered it. I enjoy how you demonstrate the different steps. If I were to win, I think the cake I would attempt to make is an upright minion cake (probably Dave). I also want to try a few cake with lace and string work on the sides of the cake.

Congratulations on your 500k subscribers! My older sister’s wedding is this Halloween, and she requested I make her wedding cake (Halloween-themed, of course) so I would begin by making that! Decorating is at my discretion, but she wants a pumpkin spice cake with caramel frosting, so I hope I can fulfill her expectations. I’ve been baking all kinds of desserts for years (my favorites are truffles and cupcakes), but this is my first wedding and my first big events where a lot of people who don’t really know me will see my creations. I’d really like to make a good impression.

Hi! I’m a 17 year-old passionate, and aspire to be pastry chef. Baking has made my life so amazing and it is the one thing that truly is my passion. Hi Jen. Love your recipes. I took a cake decorating class from a local craft store so I know a little about it. I think the first thing I will try is a Boston Creme Pie with chocolate ganache and this will be for my Mother’s 70th birthday. I recently got the recipe and I think she deserves a multi layered Creme filled cake covered with the beautifully delicious rich chocolate cover. Don’t you agree?
