We recently passed 500 thousand subscribers on our YouTube channel, and I am completely humbled and honoured that we accomplished this! Paul and I work alone in our kitchen, only a team of two people. We come up with ideas, film, edit, and upload the videos all on our own. Without any help along the way, we have relied on our YouTube subscribers to carry us along and become successful online. It has been an amazing journey, and my sights are set on 500K more!!
To thank our subscribers, I went shopping on a weekend trip to Spokane. I was in my happy place getting to buy all of these fun cake supplies! I chose some of my favourite baking tools that I use everyday while making cakes and cupcakes.

If I’m lucky enough to win this giveaway, I’d most likely bake a simple single tier vanilla cake -as I’m quite inexperienced; I don’t own many supplies- for my mom as a way of saying thank you for always supporting me in my dream to become a master at baking! Haha love ya.
Hi Jen! Congrats on reaching 500k subs. 🙂 if I won, I would host a family party and bake four different types of cakes. It’s so difficult to make just one cake because my family have different preferences! One cake I’d make is a rainbow cake because then I wouldn’t have so much cake mix sitting on the side while the others are baking. I’d also attempt to make a cake that’s decorated fully in buttercream. :’)
OMG..why am I just seeing this…um I want to attempt and making the cotton candy cupcakes.. bit I would experiment with it to make it cake!or I’d make anything from you channel! I hope I win!

Not sure of what the first thing would be. I know I would rip open the box,
check out all the cool new stuff and start making the cake batter. (EVERYTHING is from scratch for me)
I watch my 4 year old granddaughter so she would be rite in there helping me,
even after the cake is made and decorated, I doubt you would be able to tell what it was,
but we made it together and had fun.
So I guess you could so I would be making memories with my Miss Amelia. 🙂

Congrats at 500K! I always loved watching your videos and my first decorated layer cakes came from you! Now as a poor college student I can’t say what I can make first, because ingredients also cost money, but to win this would mean that I have the means to make all these great things without having to try and find a cake decorating store! However, if I had to chose one out of the many delicious things you made it would have to be the rainbow cake ball ice creams! Cake pops have never worked out for me, but I would love to try it again!
