{"id":6618,"date":"2015-06-07T18:57:15","date_gmt":"2015-06-07T18:57:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.com\/?p=6618"},"modified":"2015-06-07T19:09:50","modified_gmt":"2015-06-07T19:09:50","slug":"mms-oreo-ice-cream-sandwich-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/?p=6618","title":{"rendered":"M&#038;Ms Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0This is QUICK and EASY! \u00a0In fact, it couldn&#8217;t be any faster, or easier if I tried. \u00a0 Trust me, I like projects that are fast and easy . . . they make more time for the better things in life.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/--g9p1A_fF0\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Before you get started assembling this cake, take all of the wrappers off of the sandwiches, lay them on a baking tray and refreeze them. \u00a0You don&#8217;t want them to start to fall apart before you&#8217;re ready for the cake to be eaten. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You can use any shape and flavour of ice cream sandwiches for this cake. \u00a0So, if you can&#8217;t find the specific Oreo brand, no worries, just buy what you can find. \u00a0You can top your cake with any kind of chocolate or candy that you feel like indulging in. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To serve the cake, you can either slice it up with a sharp knife, again ensuring that the cake is frozen solid or the knife won&#8217;t be able to do much cutting- just &#8220;pushing&#8221; the wafer layers around. \u00a0You can also just remove one sandwich at a time if you have 12 guests that want to enjoy this with you.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>M&amp;Ms Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich Cake<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>12 Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches<\/li>\n<li>Whipped Cream<\/li>\n<li>Melted Chocolate<\/li>\n<li>M&amp;Ms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_4960site.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-6623\" title=\"Quick &amp; Easy M&amp;Ms Oreo Ice Cream Sandwich Cake\" src=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_4960site.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_4960site.jpg 800w, https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_4960site-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Procedure:\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>Place four ice cream sandwiches on a plate and cover with a layer of whipping cream. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Place\u00a0four\u00a0more on top of first layer, alternating location of the sandwiches so\u00a0that they are not directly on top of the first layer. Cover with whipping cream. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Finish stacking last 4 sandwiches, and again, alternating the placement of the sandwiches from the ones below it.
