Mark segments with straight lines using a ruler, or a square edge.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>With the red buttercream fitted with a basket-weave tip, fill in alternating sections, so that every second section is filled with red. Flatten icing with a spatula if desired.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Using a 4&#8243; round cutter, press a circle into the centre of the icing on the cake.\u00a0 Using a toothpick, draw a larger circle between the 4&#8243; circle and the edge of the cake into the icing.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Add additional red icing from the red areas from the side of the cake, up to the closest line and fill in.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Using a small star shaped cutter (1&#8243;- 1.5&#8243;), and the outside line as a guide, press star shapes into the buttercream all the way around the cake, near the top of the red sections. \u00a0Fill stars in using blue buttercream fitted with a small blue tip.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>With the black buttercream, fill in the centre circle, and smooth flat using an offset spatula.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Place a cut out Avengers logo on top of the black circle, secure with small pins if needed. \u00a0Trace the outline of the logo using a toothpick or scribe tool. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Using the white buttercream fitted with a small round tip, fill in the logo. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Add small Avengers figurines to complete cake (if desired).\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>This cake can be stored in a sealed container and is best consumed within 2-3 days.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"addtoany_share_save_container\"><div class=\"a2a_kit a2a_target addtoany_list\" id=\"wpa2a_1\"><a class=\"a2a_button_facebook_like addtoany_special_service\" data-href=\"https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/?p=6532\"><\/a><a class=\"a2a_button_twitter_tweet addtoany_special_service\" data-count=\"none\" data-url=\"https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/?p=6532\" data-text=\"Avengers Cake\"><\/a><a class=\"a2a_button_google_plusone addtoany_special_service\" data-annotation=\"none\" data-href=\"https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/?p=6532\"><\/a><a class=\"a2a_button_pinterest\" href=\"http:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/add_to\/pinterest?linkurl=https%3A%2F%2Fcookiescupcakesandcardio.co%2F%3Fp%3D6532&amp;linkname=Avengers%20Cake\" title=\"Pinterest\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/icons\/pinterest.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Pinterest\"\/><\/a><a class=\"a2a_dd addtoany_share_save\" href=\"http:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share_save\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/share_save_171_16.png\" width=\"171\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Share\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\nwpa2a.script_load();\n\/\/--><\/script>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You know what I found out doing research for this cake?
