I prove myself wrong in those. \u00a0Teaming up with a fellow YouTuber for nail polish bottle cake was a must for me! \u00a0One of the channels that I have been watching for quite sometime for nail \u00a0Elizabeth has a fabulous channel full of beautiful nail art ideas. \u00a0She explains everything so simply, that it makes me think I could actually do my nails myself! \u00a0Make sure you check bottle. \u00a0You can follow the technique that I show you in the video to match your favourite nail polish brand. \u00a0I just happen to have a lot of OPI bottles around, so I chose to go with that type of bottle. \u00a0Customizing the nail polish bottle colour is totally up to you, and I went with purple as it&#8217;s my favourite colour. \u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p><iframe Cake<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>3 x 6&#8243; round cake<\/li>\n<li>5 cupcakes<\/li>\n<li>Coloured buttercream (I used purple)<\/li>\n<li>Black buttercream<\/li>\n<li>Black fondant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0697site.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" 10&#8243; long)<\/li>\n<li>piping bag and small round tip<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DSC_0713site.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Stack the 3 cakes one on top of each other, and apply a thin layer of buttercream in between each cake layer.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Place cake in freezer to solidify to enable easier carving.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Once cake is frozen, you can begin to carve.\u00a0 Using a serrated knife, carve a small downward sloping section off of the top outer edge of the cake.<\/li>\n<li>From the bottom of the cake, where it meets the cake board, carve out a downward facing slope, that gently angles up toward the middle of the bottle.\u00a0 Once the cake is shaped, carve off any rough or angled sections that aren&#8217;t needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Cover cake in coloured buttercream using a cake spatula.<\/li>\n<li>Attach an upside down, leveled cupcake in the middle of the top of the bottle.\u00a0 Using the coloured buttercream, and a small round tip, pipe the &#8220;thread&#8221; of the bottle onto the cupcake.\u00a0 Put cake in the fridge to set again if desired.<\/li>\n<li>For the handle, level and stack together 4 cupcakes.\u00a0 Cover in black buttercream.\u00a0 If desired you can use skewers or dowels to secure the cupcakes together.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Using letter cutters, cut out OPI NAIL LACQUER and place onto the front of the cake.\u00a0 In between the O and P is a small dot, so cut one of those out as well, and repeat for between the P and I as well.\u00a0 Cut out a 4&#8243; long, thin strip of black fondant for placement between the OPI and NAIL.\u00a0 Repeat for a horizontal strip that is placed below the work LACQUER as well.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Place the nail polish bottle handle (black cupcakes) onto the cake board in front of the nail polish bottle.\u00a0 Using the coloured buttercream, pipe a &#8220;spill&#8221; onto the board.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Insert the paint brush into the end of the cupcake &#8220;handle&#8221; to complete the cake.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Serve the cake when desired- it is best consumed within 2-3 days, and should be kept in the fridge.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Remember to check out IHaveACupcake and subscribe to
