\"\"<\/a>I loved this book despite the fact I used up a box of tissues while reading it!\u00a0 If you haven’t heard of The Fault In Our Stars<\/em>, you must get to the library\/bookstore\/iBooks now!\u00a0 It is a super easy read, and despite the heavy underlying storyline, it remains somewhat light and fun to read.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I heard rave reviews about the book on Amazon, but the aspect that made me want to read it the most was that it was written by a fellow YouTuber!!\u00a0 John Green and his brother run the channel VlogBrothers<\/a>, where they are “raising nerdy to the power of awesome.”\u00a0 <\/em>Obviously with the success of TFiOS (and his other novels) he is a New York Times Bestseller and an award winning author.\u00a0
<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0I received a TON of requests for TFiOS cake on my YouTube channel, and knowing that I couldn’t let my YT subscribers down, I had to come up with a way to make the story into a cake.\u00a0 At first I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make a book cake, but it just wasn’t interesting enough.\u00a0 I still plan to make a book cake tutorial, but it’s on the back burner.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Being that I was constructing a cake about a serious topic (cancer), I wanted to keep it light and hopeful– no sense of pulling the tissue box out when there is cake around!\u00a0 I’ve been wanting to make a pull apart cupcake cake for a while, and with the black and white clouds on the cover of the book, making the pull apart cake was the perfect match!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Filming the video was slightly awkward as I couldn’t pipe the words upside down, so you’re probably going to have to turn your computer around to see me working on the piping portion of the cake.\u00a0\u00a0 When we build our new studio, I will have to make sure we have somewhere to place the camera over my shoulder!\u00a0 Sorry ’bout that!<\/p>\n

I haven’t been to see the movie yet, and I’m not sure if I will.\u00a0 I am always disappointed when I go to see movies that have been made from books!!!\u00a0 Is that bad?\u00a0 Or do you feel the same way?\u00a0 Let me know I’m not alone!!!\u00a0 If you haven’t read the book yet, you can get it HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
