I finished Nick Hornby’s <\/strong>Slam<\/strong><\/em> (really funny by the way), and now I’m on to Wicked <\/strong>by Gregory Maguire<\/strong><\/span><\/em>. \u00a0Wicked<\/em> is a story about how the Wicked Witch of the West ended up so wicked . . . and hopefully they explain how she became green<\/span><\/strong>. \u00a0 We’ll see how it is . . . I’ve heard mixed reviews<\/strong>. \u00a0Some people say they love it, some people have said it is hard to get into.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The travelling Broadway<\/strong> production of Wicked is coming to Spokane<\/strong> in the spring, and I’m thinking that will be a great Christmas present<\/strong> for my mom (uhhhh . . . and I). \u00a0A fun mother\/daughter getaway in May!<\/p>\n

The thing I like about reading the book the most right now is that the edges of the pages are vibrant emerald green<\/span> . . . I think I like it so much just because it’s different than the same old newsprint.<\/p>\n
