In May, we went to the 9th Annual Hungry for Life gala dinner, dance, silent and live auction to benefit the people of Haiti. \u00a0Heidi’s Restaurant <\/a>catered dinner and the evening featured entertainer and auctioneer Gery Schubert and dancing to live music by Billy Jive and the Funktastic Five followed to wrap up the evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0This was one of our cake donations to the benefit and it ended up going for $85! \u00a0It was Neapolitan….chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0Our second cake was requested by the organizer, as she had won the auction the previous year and loved the flavour so much that she wanted the same one again this year! \u00a0It is Orange Creamsicle. \u00a0It went for over $60 in the silent auction.<\/p>\n

\u00a0There were many stunning auction items that were donated, and many were part of the silent auction, but the high ticket items were up for grabs in the live auction portion of the evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0The theme this year was Las Vegas, and you can see the amazing job that the decorators did, and the attention to detail.\u00a0<\/p>\n
