Living here in the East Kootenay’s . . . nestled in the neck of the Rockies, we often have an excess of animals at our doors.<\/p>\n

Skunks. Sick<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Bears. Scary<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Elk. \u00a0Large<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Eagles, hawks and other flying things. \u00a0AAHHHHH! \u00a0(I hate things that fly.)<\/p>\n

I love when city mice<\/strong>, come to visit the country mice <\/strong>and see all of the deers running around. \u00a0I like the word “deers<\/strong>“, by the way. \u00a0 Yes, I know it’s not a real word. \u00a0Said visitors always want to stop and take pictures of the deer . . . it can be like a bus full of Japanese tourists in Banff!<\/p>\n

As common as deers are in my backyard, driveway, garden (grrrr!) and everywhere else, it completely creeps me out when they walk down the sidewalk<\/strong>! \u00a0It is so WEIRD!<\/p>\n

How to they know to do that!?!?!?! \u00a0And what could be worse than a deer on the sidewalk?<\/p>\n

"Well, should we get going?" "I guess so."<\/p><\/div>\n

A deer in a CROSSWALK! \u00a0Yes, I have seen that too! \u00a0Seriously, it was crossing the road in the crosswalk.<\/p>\n

"Stay on the sidewalk kids."<\/p><\/div>\n

Paul managed to capture this yesterday and I had to post about it. \u00a0 BECAUSE IT’S SO WEIRD!<\/p>\n
