Too bad for you guys that you won&#8217;t get to see me in all my grad cap glory . . . mwahahahahaha.\u00a0 Really, I just wanted to chuck it in the air again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a bit mixed on my feelings of graduation.\u00a0 While I feel it can be a great accomplishment, whether it be from high school, university, college or a trade school, I also feel that it is a major money grab!\u00a0 Not only do you usually need to pay for all post secondary courses, there are cap and gown rentals, application for graduation fee (that one made me the most annoyed . . . what did they think I had been going there for 5 years for?), tickets for the ceremony, fees for diplomas . . . and, and, and . . . feel free to add more in the comments!<\/p>\n<p>The positive side of graduation is that an achievement has been accomplished, and a new start begun!\u00a0 **<em>I hate when old people start sentences with &#8220;<\/em>I remember when . . .<em>&#8221; and then continue on to tell a really long, boring story, but since I&#8217;m not old, I can do that<\/em>.**\u00a0 I remember when I graduated high school and thought it was just the greatest thing.\u00a0 It was never in doubt that I was going to graduate, so I wasn&#8217;t one to run around yelling <em>&#8220;I made it!!&#8221;<\/em> because graduating high school was just something that was expected would happen.\u00a0 You worked hard, did your homework, and got your diploma.\u00a0 University on the other hand was quite different.\u00a0 There seemed to be way more . . . <em>distractions<\/em> . . . there.\u00a0 At that ceremony I may have spent some time yelling &#8220;<em>I made it!<\/em>&#8220;, but I can&#8217;t remember.\u00a0 I was distracted.<\/p>\n<p>If you are graduating this year, congratulations and enjoy it.\u00a0 It goes by too quickly.\u00a0 Jeesh.\u00a0 ENOUGH with the old people sayings Jenn!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fesnLI9L-8k\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>How to Make Graduation Cupcakes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>prepare cupcakes<\/li>\n<li>prepared buttercream (ivory, brown, black)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>small round tips, (Wilton #2, #3)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>mini red heart sprinkles<\/li>\n<li>melted chocolate<\/li>\n<li>fruit by the foot\/fruit roll up<\/li>\n<li>mini M&amp;M&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>candy eyes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSC_4007blog.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-5247\" title=\"Graduation Cupcakes\" src=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSC_4007blog.jpg\" alt=\"Graduation Cupcakes\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSC_4007blog.jpg 800w, http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/DSC_4007blog-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Procedure:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ol>\n<li>On a piece of parchment paper, or a silicone tray liner, spread melted chocolate out in a thin layer. \u00a0Allow to harden.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Prepare cupcakes and buttercream. \u00a0Place one cup of each of the three buttercream colours into 3 piping bags, each fitted with a small round tip. \u00a0Place #2 tip on the black bag.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Cover prepared cupcakes in ivory or brown buttercream, and ensure that surface is flat. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Using black icing bag, pipe a mouth onto the cupcake and place the red heart sprinkle where the tongue would be.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Switching to the ivory buttercream (or brown if brown is base colour), allow small round mounds to grow (squeezing piping bag) for cheeks and for a nose.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Place candy eyes onto cupcake and using the small black piping bag, cover the pupils to make them look more realistic.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Use the brown or black buttercream to make swirls for the hair. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Once chocolate is hardened, cut into a 2&#8243;x 2&#8243;
