These Halloween cupcakes are filled with cherry filling, the perfect extra touch to gross out your friends. \u00a0The addition of &#8220;blood&#8221; to the parts of the brain and heart are super disgusting, and it kind of creeped me out while making them! \u00a0I&#8217;m not a religious watcher by any means, but I&#8217;ve seen enough episodes of The Walking Dead TV show to be reminded of it when looking at these . . . &#8220;Braaaaains! Braaaaains! Braaaaains!&#8221; \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So gross and perfect for Halloween!!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MFhtKJKKIms\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Red buttercream<br \/>Blue buttercream<br \/>Pink buttercream<br \/>(Our buttercream video:\u00a0<a title=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/rjqOTM5icOE\" dir=\"ltr\" href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/rjqOTM5icOE\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/youtu.be\/rjqOTM5icOE<\/a>)<br \/>Cupcakes of any flavour<br \/>Cherry pie filling<br \/>Small round tips (Wilton 2\/3)\u00a0<br \/>Larger round tips (Wilton 10\/12)<br \/>Red gel<br \/>Toothpicks<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Procedure:<\/strong><\/span><br \/><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Brain Cupcakes<\/span><br \/>Core out cupcakes and fill with cherry pie filling. Replace top. Using pink buttercream, pipe a small mound in the centre to build up height for the brain. Starting at one end of the cupcake, pipe (10\/12 tip) up and over the mound, and around the outside edge, meeting back up with the starting point. This will be one &#8220;hemisphere&#8221; of the brain. Repeat for the other hemisphere. Fill in the outline with a zigzag motion, until the brain is complete. Using red piping gel and a tooth pick or fine point tool add dimension to the brain by following the gaps with the red gel.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Heart Cupcakes<\/span><br \/>Core and fill cupcakes with cherry pie filling. Replace top. Using red buttercream and a larger tip, pipe a flat top to the cupcake. Switch to the pink buttercream with a small tip, and pipe the outline of the heart. Switch tips to a 10\/12 and fill in the heart shape, adding height by building upwards. Using the red buttercream with a small tip, pipe the &#8220;arteries&#8221; and using the blue, pipe the &#8220;veins&#8221;.
