<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I’ve been going back through my videos on my YouTube channel, and somehow I missed putting this one up on the blog!\u00a0 What the hay?\u00a0 How did that happen?\u00a0 Oh, right.\u00a0 I got busy, overwhelmed and crawled into a hole.\u00a0 BUT NOW I’M OUT and madly posting massive amounts of Easter videos for your enjoyment next weekend! I’ll try to get up the accompanying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=W8uLNdQtppw\" target=\"_blank\">Fondant Carrot Cupcake Topper<\/a> video post, but if I get hit by a bus, it’s on “The YouTube”.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>P and I have just come back from a mini holiday in Banff, and it was great! We got some hiking in, filmed some cardio videos doing them, shopped in Calgary, and enjoyed being away from the homestead.\u00a0 We’ve hit the ground running being back, and it’s great to be refreshed and ready to decorate for EASTER!\u00a0 I, of course, love Easter!!\u00a0 Chocolate, mini eggs, chocolate, mini eggs and more chocolate . . . and mini eggs!\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_7086.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2725\" title=\"Fondant Rabbit Cupcake Topper\" src=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_7086.jpg\" alt=\"JJ's Custom Cakery, Cakes Cranbrook, Cranbrook Cakes\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_7086.jpg 600w, http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/DSC_7086-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong> Fondant Rabbit Cupcake Toppers<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>White fondant for the rabbit ears, face, cheeks, eyes and teeth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pink fondant for the rabbit nose.<\/p>\n<p>Black fondant or edible writers for the pupil.<\/p>\n<p>Small circle cutter, Wilton #12 tip, petal cutter.<\/p>\n<p>Gum glue, or water or tylose glue for attaching the pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Baked cupcakes<\/p>\n<p>Prepared Buttercream<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><strong>Procedure:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The first step is to roll out your white fondant and cut out all of the pieces you will need to make with white.\u00a0 To do the face, I used a simple circle cutter.\u00a0 To cut out the cheeks, I used the bottom of a Wilton #12 tip.\u00a0 For the eyes, I used the top of a Wilton #12 tip.\u00a0 For the ears, I used a flower cutter and then placed them on a flower former in order to get a curved shape to them.\u00a0 To make the teeth, I just cut out a small rectangle and made a small line in the center.<\/p>\n<p>Once all of the pieces are cut out, you can start to assemble the rabbit face.\u00a0 Start with the large white fondant piece and attach (with the glue of your choice-see above) the eyes, cheeks and teeth.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Using a small piece of pink fondant, roll it out into a tiny ball and attach it onto the rabbit face.<\/p>\n<p>Using a black colour writer, or tiny pieces of black fondant add pupils to the centre of the eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, once the ears are dried, attach them to the back of the face.<\/p>\n<p>Top your cupcake with buttercream and place the rabbit in the centre!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Happy Baking! <\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<div class=\"addtoany_share_save_container\"><div class=\"a2a_kit a2a_target addtoany_list\" id=\"wpa2a_1\"><a class=\"a2a_button_facebook_like addtoany_special_service\" data-href=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/?p=2724\"><\/a><a class=\"a2a_button_twitter_tweet addtoany_special_service\" data-count=\"none\" data-url=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/?p=2724\" data-text=\"Fondant Rabbit Cupcake Toppers\"><\/a><a class=\"a2a_button_google_plusone addtoany_special_service\" data-annotation=\"none\" data-href=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/?p=2724\"><\/a><a class=\"a2a_button_pinterest\" href=\"http:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/add_to\/pinterest?linkurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcookiescupcakesandcardio.co%2F%3Fp%3D2724&linkname=Fondant%20Rabbit%20Cupcake%20Toppers\" title=\"Pinterest\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/icons\/pinterest.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Pinterest\"\/><\/a><a class=\"a2a_dd addtoany_share_save\" href=\"http:\/\/www.addtoany.com\/share_save\"><img src=\"http:\/\/cookiescupcakesandcardio.co\/wp-content\/plugins\/add-to-any\/share_save_171_16.png\" width=\"171\" height=\"16\" alt=\"Share\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\nwpa2a.script_load();\n\/\/--><\/script>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this video we demonstrate how to make a bunny rabbit face from fondant or gum paste to use as cupcake toppers.\u00a0 This is great for decorating cupcakes over the Easter holidays!
