Homemade Vanilla Cake from Scratch<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Learning how to make a moist, delicious vanilla cake requires one specific thing . . . the right recipe! \u00a0I have tried many of them throughout my life, and this one has come in handy on many occasions! \u00a0Of course it’s not THE recipe I use for my cake company (JJ’s Custom Cakery<\/a> in Cranbrook B.C. Canada) but it is a close second that guarded one!\u00a0<\/p>\n

Vanilla Cake Recipe<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(adapted from KitchenAid)<\/p>\n

Yield: 4 cups of batter <\/p>\n

Ingredients:
2 1\/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 1\/3 cups sugar
1\/2 teaspoon salt
1\/2 cup butter
1 cup low-fat (1%) milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs\u00a0<\/p>\n
